Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

3 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break it apart as it cooks and drain excess grease if needed.

2. Add the minced garlic and butter to the pot with the beef. Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

3. Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a boil. Add the uncooked fettuccine, pressing down to submerge. Stir occasionally.

4. Let the pasta simmer uncovered for about 10–12 minutes, stirring frequently until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese. Mix until melted and the sauce is creamy.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and optional paprika. Adjust to taste.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For the smoothest sauce, use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-packaged.

If the sauce gets too thick, add a splash of milk or broth to loosen it.

Pasta will continue to absorb liquid as it sits, so serve immediately for best texture.
