Ingredients

Scale

1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup jasmine rice

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook rice according to package instructions. Once done, fluff and set aside.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

3. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add cream and stir. Add parmesan and whisk until melted and smooth.

5. Stir in chopped parsley and dill. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

6. Spoon rice into bowls, pour over the creamy herb sauce, and top with garlic butter shrimp. Garnish with extra herbs.

7. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

Make sure the cream doesn’t boil to avoid curdling — keep it at a gentle simmer.

Fresh herbs give the best flavor, but dried ones can be used in smaller amounts.

Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently with added cream or milk to refresh the sauce.
