12 oz spaghetti

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

½ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks and season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

4. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

5. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add the remaining tablespoon of butter.

6. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

7. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

8. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.

9. Add the drained spaghetti into the sauce, using pasta water to loosen if needed.

10. Return chicken to the pan, add parsley, and toss everything to coat. Serve hot.
