Ingredients

Scale

225g spaghetti

300g beef strips (sirloin or ribeye)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1.5 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.

2. Season beef strips with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Sprinkle in remaining Cajun seasoning and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.

6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

7. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss well to coat in the sauce. Add pasta water if needed to loosen it.

8. Return beef strips to the pan or slice and place on top. Warm through gently.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Let the beef come to room temperature before searing for the best texture.

Use freshly grated Parmesan to avoid a grainy sauce.

Reserve pasta water—it helps fix any sauce that’s too thick.
