8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

¼ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

3. Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

5. Stir in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and add Parmesan cheese and extra Cajun seasoning. Stir until smooth.

6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Loosen with pasta water if needed.

7. Slice chicken and layer over pasta.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and chili flakes if desired. Serve hot.
