Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 large bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese or preferred flavor)
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (optional)
  • Sour cream and chopped green onions for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.
    • Add taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to coat the beef with spices.
  2. Mix with Cheese

    • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.
    • Add the shredded cheese and mix until fully combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Stuff the Doritos

    • Carefully open each Dorito along one side, being gentle to avoid breaking them.
    • Using a small spoon or piping bag, stuff each chip with a small amount of the beef and cheese mixture.
  4. Bake or Air Fry

    • Oven Method: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts and chips are warm.
    • Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and air-fry for 3-5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  5. Serve and Enjoy

    • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
    • Garnish with sour cream and green onions if desired. Serve immediately!
