Ingredients
- 8 slices of soft white sandwich bread (crusts removed, flattened)
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional fillings: cream cheese, Nutella, fruit preserves
Instructions

Prepare the Bread
Trim crusts from bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin. -
Mix Cinnamon Sugar
Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside. -
Prepare the Egg Mixture
Whisk eggs and milk in a mixing bowl. -
Add Fillings and Roll
Spread optional fillings on each bread slice and roll tightly. -
Dip and Fry
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip roll-ups in egg mixture and cook seam-side down. Turn to brown all sides (about 2–3 minutes per side). -
