Looking for a quick, cheesy, and satisfying dinner idea? These Chopped Cheeseburgers are the perfect solution for weeknight meals, parties, or casual game days. This easy recipe transforms classic cheeseburgers into pull-apart sliders, loaded with juicy seasoned beef and gooey melted cheese tucked into soft, golden slider buns. Whether you’re after comfort food, a fun twist on burgers, or a quick family-friendly dinner, this easy recipe delivers big flavor with minimal effort. A must-try for anyone who loves simple food ideas with a big payoff.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound lean ground beef

1/2 cup finely diced yellow onion

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

6 to 8 slices American cheese or cheddar

1 12-pack Hawaiian slider rolls

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onions until the beef is no longer pink. Break into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess grease.

2. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes.

3. Without separating rolls, slice slider buns horizontally. Place bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

4. Spoon hot beef mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Layer cheese slices on top.

5. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese-covered beef.

6. Brush roll tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

7. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until golden.

8. Cool slightly, garnish with parsley if using, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Prep the beef mixture a day ahead to save time when entertaining.

Use fresh, soft buns—stale rolls won’t absorb flavors or hold up well.

Let the cheese come to room temp for optimal melting and gooey texture.
