Ingredients

Scale

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count), cut into quarters

1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, 1 cup of cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Fold in the quartered biscuit pieces gently until fully coated.

4. Pour mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.

5. Top with remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese and brush with melted butter if desired.

6. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through and golden brown.

7. Let cool for 5–10 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to cut down on prep time and add extra flavor.

Be sure the biscuit dough pieces are evenly distributed so they bake fully and puff up nicely.

Add thawed frozen vegetables like peas or broccoli to turn it into a full meal.
