Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk, or dark)
  • ¾ cup toffee bits
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs until a thick dough forms.
  3. Press two-thirds of the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish to form the base.
  4. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and toffee bits evenly over the dough layer.
  5. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the chocolate and toffee layer.
  6. Crumble the remaining dough over the top, leaving some gaps for the filling to peek through.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center looks set.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy!
