Description

This Cajun Chicken Pasta is a creamy, spicy, and satisfying dish perfect for weeknights or special occasions. Juicy seared chicken, colorful peppers, and a rich Cajun-seasoned cream sauce come together with pasta for a bold and comforting meal.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 ounces penne pasta

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let rest.

3. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers for 4–5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

5. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.

6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

7. Slice the rested chicken and place on top of the pasta.

8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
