  • Author: Sally Thompson
  • Total Time: 16-20 squares

Description

This Butter Pecan Fudge is a rich, creamy treat loaded with toasted pecans and buttery flavor. Perfect for holidays, parties, or gifting, it’s an easy-to-make confection that combines velvety smooth fudge with the satisfying crunch of pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, toasted (reserve some for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the Pecans – In a skillet over medium heat, toast the chopped pecans for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Baking Dish – Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the Mixture – In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, white chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until smooth and well combined.
  4. Add Flavor – Remove the pan from the heat and stir in vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and the toasted pecans (reserving a handful for garnish).
  5. Pour and Spread – Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved pecans over the top, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Chill – Place the pan in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, or until fully set. For best results, chill overnight.
  7. Slice and Serve – Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into small squares and enjoy!
