Ingredients

Scale

1 can cinnamon roll dough (with icing)

8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links

1 egg (optional, for egg wash)

1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Sear the fully cooked sausages in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until lightly browned. Let them cool slightly.

3. Unroll each cinnamon roll and stretch into a 5-6 inch strip.

4. Place a sausage at the end of each strip and roll up tightly.

5. (Optional) Whisk egg and water to make egg wash and brush over the rolls for a glossy finish.

6. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet.

7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

8. Let cool for 5 minutes before drizzling with icing.

9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure sausages are fully cooked before wrapping to prevent soggy dough.

Allow rolls to cool slightly before icing to avoid melting the glaze.

For extra flavor, sprinkle a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon on the dough before wrapping.
