Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked (6-8 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Lower the heat to medium and season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes to blend flavors.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Add cubed Velveeta and milk to the skillet. Stir continuously until cheese is fully melted and a smooth sauce forms (5-7 minutes).
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until well coated in the sauce. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen.
