Ingredients
8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or preferred type)
1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
5 oz Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor recommended)
½ cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)
½ cup reserved pasta water (to adjust sauce consistency)
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for brightness)
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions

Cook the Pasta and Broccoli:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions.

Two minutes before the pasta is done, add the broccoli to the boiling water.

Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Reduce heat to low and stir in Boursin cheese until melted.

Pour in heavy cream and whisk until smooth.

Gradually add reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
