- 1 (20–25 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Optional Add-ins:
- 1/2 lb cooked ground beef or Italian sausage
- Red pepper flakes
- Ricotta cheese dollops
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an oven-safe skillet or 9×13 baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix marinara sauce with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add cooked meat if using.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of your dish.
- Add a layer of ravioli, then top with more sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Repeat the layers until all ravioli and sauce are used, ending with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
