  • 1 lime, juiced

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl, keeping the avocado shells intact if using for serving.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture or mashing until smooth if preferred.
  3. Add the lime juice and mix well to prevent browning.
  4. Stir in the diced red onion, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using). Mix gently to combine.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust flavors as needed.
  6. Spoon the dip back into the avocado shells for a fun presentation, or serve in a bowl.
