Golden and crispy, these Air Fryer Hash Browns are the perfect breakfast side without the grease. Made with just a few ingredients and cooked to perfection in the air fryer, they’re crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside—ready in minutes with minimal cleanup.

- 2 large Russet potatoes, peeled and shredded
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (avocado or vegetable oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1/4 tsp garlic powder, chopped herbs, or grated cheese
Instructions
- Peel and shred potatoes. Soak in cold water for 5–10 minutes.
- Drain and squeeze out excess moisture using a towel or cheesecloth.
- In a bowl, mix potatoes with oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly with oil.
- Spread shredded potatoes in a thin layer or form into patties.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.
